On Tuesday, September 13, 2011, New York will hold a special election for the 9th Congressional District to fill the seat vacated by Representative Anthony D. Weiner. In Queens, the 9th District includes Maspeth, Fresh Meadows, Glendale, Howard Beach, Kew Gardens, Kew Gardens Hills, Middle Village, Forest Hills, Ozone Park, Ridgewood, Rego Park, Rockaway Beach, and Woodhaven. In Brooklyn the 9th District includes Flatlands, Gerritsen Beach, Marine Park, Midwood, Mill Basin and Sheepshead Bay
