The San Miguel Chapel in Santa Fe, built in 1610
The Roadrunner is the state bird of New Mexico and is quick enough to catch and eat rattlesnakes. They prefer walking or running and attain speeds up to 17 mph. Hour. They are especially adapted to the desert.
