2. Completely restored, with a circular form, it consists of a dungeon in the center, and an inside patio that makes this amazing property so unique. Situated high up with views over the river Lot that runs through Cahors. The airport at Toulouse is 115 km. Dating back as far as the 12th century, occupied by a family in the 100 years war and then given back to its original owner “Gourdon” who conserved it until the twentieth century. 4. A lane winds its way through the forest and gates and on to the side of the castle. Paths go around the gardens where there is a pond, a garden shed, double garage and many sitting areas enabling one to enjoy the view over the river and the beautiful town of Cahors. To one side are several terraces, one with a barbecue and the swimming pool. Several doors lead into the castle. The ground floor consists of: entrance hall, sitting room with a beautiful open fire place, main bedroom with en suite and dressing room. Dining room and kitchen. Door onto the outside patio with several doors going back into the castle to the utility room, boiler room, second entrance hall and the cellar that is inside the dungeon.

There is an attic and the old rampart which the guards used to use to access all three towers of defense. The second floor consists of: two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and sitting room/dining room. Stone steps lead down to the center of the dungeon and others into the top of the dungeon currently used as a bedroom.
