The BI SAC meets at least twice a year in each major region (NA, LatAm, EMEA, APJ), usually close to one of the main customer events, like SAPPHIRE, SAP Insider, TechEd. Round-table format provides trusted environment for sharing of ideas, to help us identify immediate and ongoing improvement areas. Presentations by product strategy leaders and product management Customers sharing their short/mid/long term plans, their roadblocks and concerns, but also their successes. In addition to the in-person meetings, update webinars are planned several times per year. “Our BI SAC brings together the best in the community providing insight, diversity and synergy in support of SAP’s strategic direction”. Kimberley Clark, Australia “The BI SAC has provided a wealth of value. It is a venue where I can voice my ideas, and where those ideas transform into both a tangible, and measureable impact on product direction.” Lockheed Martin, US “The BI SAC has provided a wealth of value by offering me a platform in which I can engage directly with fellow customers, SAP executive leadership, product managers, and those directly tasked with improving the customer experience. It is a venue where I can voice my ideas, and where those ideas transform into both a tangible, and measureable impact on product direction, innovation, and enterprise support.” Lockheed Martin, US “Our BI SAC brings together the best in the community providing insight, diversity and synergy in support of SAP’s strategic direction”. Kimberley Clark, Australia “The SAP BI Strategic Advisory Council meeting the day after the SABOC conference in Fort Worth provided an opportunity for customers to meet with top level individuals responsible for the SAP BusinessObjects and Analytics product lines. SAP provided an overview of future direction and to give customers the ability to voice comments and concerns about current issues as well as the future roadmap. The format gave each customer the ability to provide positive and negative feedback on various topics. In addition, we are able to offer up any pain points that we have currently and offer suggestions and strategic insight for future development. I found the meeting to be worthwhile and look forward to the opportunity to participate in a future meeting.” Grane Healthcare, US Commitments & Prerequisites Active participation at two conferences each year, usually scheduled in Q2 and Q4 SAP provides product updates and roadmaps (future directions) - Customers provide feedback, key business use cases, and share their experience.
