1.Clean boot of PDA Notes A clean boot is a cold boot that causes the device to be restored to factory configuration. The Memor will reset to its factory configuration, clear the working RAM and initialize the file system. You will lose any applications and data stored in persistent flash memory. At the next startup the system will ask to recalibrate the touch screen. To perform a clean boot, follow these steps: 1.Perform a Cold Boot (Press these keys simultaneously). 2.Quickly release all the keys when the screen goes black. 3.Within 1 second press and hold down the Esc and 0 keys until the left orange led starts blinking. 4.Release the Esc and 0 keys. 5.Enter 1 to proceed with the Clean Boot sequence. 1.Clean boot of PDA Notes After cold reboot or total power loss of PDA, when warming up, system may ask for screen calibration. In this case, please follow the instructions on the screen (tap shown cross on screen with stylus). Pos – global base

Notes Click “Start” button and then “Settings”. Pos – global base

Notes Set the current year, month and time. Click “OK”. Note: Remember, after each powerloss (remove of battery for example), date and time is reset to the default value and must be set again. Pos – global base

Notes Check color of barcode scanner setting icon. Icon MUST HAVE gray color. On the picture is correct state. Pos – global base

Notes If barcode scanner setting icon is green, it means wegde fuction is switched ON. This is WRONG, wedge fuction must be disabled. Pos – global base

Notes Tap the icon and uncheck “Wedge”. Pos – global base

4. Setting connection between PDA and PC (and TPOMM backoffice system) via USB under Windows 8
Notes In your PC, Install driver supplied by your PDA manufacturer. Notice: under Windows 8, there is difficulty of installing an unsigned driver, you must make special settings before. Consult your IT specialist. Install Windows Mobile Device Center (replaces the Microsoft ActiveSync program in older OS). Pos – global base

Notes Connect PDA dock station (cradle) through USB to your PC and put PDA to the dock station. Windows Mobile Device Center should automatically detect and connect PDA (active connection is indicated by green checkbox). Make sure PDA is connected before proceed to the next step! Pos – global base

Notes PDA must be in factory default setting before proceed to next step. If PDA isn’t in factory default setting, make „Clean Boot“ of PDA. Pos – global base

5.MobileFlow installation into PDA

Notes Unpack the “PDA install software complete v2.7.zip” on your Notebook Pos – global base

Notes Copy the KBDstatus.dll in PDA From folder 05 DLL update, Copy the KBDstatus.dll in the PDA on the directory \backup\windows. It’s necessary the cold reboot and confirm all possible requests on the PDA. Pos – global base

Notes Unpack latest version of MobileFlow installation package for your PDA device type and run “MobFlowInst.exe” Folder \03 MobileFlow for DATALOGIC memor MobFlowInst.exe must be started with administrator rights. Pos – global base

Notes Click „Install MobileFlow“ radio button. Pos – global base

Notes Choose language. Options are: English, German, Czech, Dutch. If your language is not in the list, choose English. How to set correct language is described in the following setion. Pos – global base

Notes Notice: When COLD reboot or total discharge of battery is made, automatic reinstall of MobileFlow is started. Language you previously set in this screen is restored. For this reason, if you previously manually switched language for example to Italian, after reinstall you will have back English language in the MobileFlow. Pos – global base

Notes Notice: Therefore, after a cold restart must be any language other than English, German, Czech or Dutch manually re-set again. Pos – global base

Notes When copying is finished, check PDA display for remaining steps to complete installation (click Yes, Yes, Ok). Pos – global base

Notes On the PC click “Close” button to exit installation application. Pos – global base

Notes Copy the mbsdoc1.ini in PDA From Folder 06 Defined documents, Copy the mbsdoc1.ini in the PDA On the directories: \ /MobileFlow/mbsdoc1.ini Storage Card/MobileFlow/mbsdoc1.ini If open, close and run MobileFlow in PDA to load new settings. Pos – global base

Notes To change language of MobileFlow (from English to another) in PDA, if running, close MobileFlow. Pos – global base

Notes MobileFlow.exe file in PDA must be replaced. From installation package, go to “07 MobileFlow for DATALOGIC memor language localization” directory and choose correct MobileFlow.exe file depending the language you want. Pos – global base

Notes In your PC, open Explorer, search for Memor device and replace \MobileFlow\Mobil eFlow.exe with new one. Pos – global base

Notes When your run MobileFlow in PDA, you can see language of application changes. Pos – global base

6. Setting MobileFlow – enable 6-digit store number, skip login screen

Notes In PDA Windows CE, click „Start“ button – Programs – MFConfig. Pos – global base

Notes Main menu appears. Click “Login settings” to enable /disable password protection when MobileFlow starts. Pos – global base

Notes Check „Skip login dialog“ and click „OK“. Pos – global base

Notes Click „Display settings“ to enable 6-digit store numbers. Pos – global base

Notes Click „Page 2“. Pos – global base

Notes Check „Use long branch number“ and then click „OK“. Exit the Mfconfig. Pos – global base

Notes Setting MobileFlow - method of password calculation IMPORTANT! Check (and if needed, set correct) system date in your PDA device before proceed to the next step (see “Setting current date and time in PDA”). Password is dynamically change according actual date. Pos – global base

Notes Password calculation – example1: Current date is: Year minus month = result, so: 2014 – 3 = 2011. Result concatenate actual day = password, so: 2011 <- 18 = Valid password for date is: Pos – global base

8. Setting MobileFlow – store number in PDA

Notes Enter the password (see “Setting MobileFlow - method of password calculation“) and click “OK”. IMPORTANT If Password Wrong, verify and change again date/time Pos – global base

9.Using MobileFlow – keyboard switching

Notes Current keyboard layout is shown in the upper right corner. Switching is possible by pressing function button on PDA. Label of this button depends on the type of used PDA, for example “Alpha” etc. Pos – global base

10.Setting MFMaster Notes IMPORTANT: Re-connect the PDA at the till.
Copy folder 08 MFMaster in C:\ Rename the folder already exists MFMaster in MFMaster_OLD. Rename the folder 08 MFMaster in MFMaster Pos – global base

10.Setting MFMaster Notes Find out correct IP address of TPOMM server.
Run C:\MFMaster\Mobi leFlowMaster.exe. Pos – global base

10.Setting MFMaster Notes Click “Setting“.
Edit highlighted items. The rest of items set as shown on the picture: Enter Server Name “DEBEN9010TP011P” and “same store number as set in PDA” Pos – global base

10.Setting MFMaster Notes
Click “OK”. Connection setting between PDA, your PC and TPOMM APP server for data transfer is completed. Note: for correct function of transferring documents to and from PDA and to see your documents in TPOmniView, the same store number must be in PDA, MFMaster and TPOmniView login. Pos – global base

11.Transfer article database from TPOMM server to your PDA device

Notes Before you can start work with PDA (scannig articles, creating new documents, etc.), part of TPOMM database (articles) must be transferred to PDA. Run MobileFlow Master (C:\MFMaster\Mo bileFlowMaster.ex e). Check the PDA connection. Pos – global base

Notes Click “Database transfer - complet”. Database copy starts. Pos – global base

Notes Wait until copying is finished. Pos – global base

Notes Re-run MobileFlow in PDA. When this screen is shown, click “OK”. Wait until operation is finished. Pos – global base

Notes When operation finish, new screen is shown. Click “OK”. Database transfer to PDA device is completed. Pos – global base
