1.Clean boot of PDA Notes A clean boot is a cold boot that causes the device to be restored to factory configuration. The Memor will reset to its factory configuration, clear the working RAM and initialize the file system. You will lose any applications and data stored in persistent flash memory. At the next startup the system will ask to recalibrate the touch screen. To perform a clean boot, follow these steps: 1.Perform a Cold Boot (Press these keys simultaneously). 2.Quickly release all the keys when the screen goes black. 3.Within 1 second press and hold down the Esc and 0 keys until the left orange led starts blinking. 4.Release the Esc and 0 keys. 5.Enter 1 to proceed with the Clean Boot sequence. 1.Clean boot of PDA Notes After cold reboot or total power loss of PDA, when warming up, system may ask for screen calibration. In this case, please follow the instructions on the screen (tap shown cross on screen with stylus). Pos – global base

Notes In your PC, Install driver supplied by your PDA manufacturer. Notice: under Windows 8, there is difficulty of installing an unsigned driver, you must make special settings before. Consult your IT specialist. Install Windows Mobile Device Center (replaces the Microsoft ActiveSync program in older OS). Pos – global base

Notes Connect PDA dock station (cradle) through USB to your PC and put PDA to the dock station. Windows Mobile Device Center should automatically detect and connect PDA (active connection is indicated by green checkbox). Make sure PDA is connected before proceed to the next step! Pos – global base

Notes Copy the KBDstatus.dll in PDA From folder 05 DLL update, Copy the KBDstatus.dll in the PDA on the directory \backup\windows. It’s necessary the cold reboot and confirm all possible requests on the PDA. Pos – global base

Notes Notice: When COLD reboot or total discharge of battery is made, automatic reinstall of MobileFlow is started. Language you previously set in this screen is restored. For this reason, if you previously manually switched language for example to Italian, after reinstall you will have back English language in the MobileFlow. Pos – global base
