Interrogative mood: the verb is used to ask a question. Conditional mood: the verb is used to make a statement about what might happen if something else happens. Subjunctive mood: the verb is used to express a recommendation, requirement, wish, or something contrary to reality. Imperative mood: the verb is a part of a command or request.
