2 What was Canada’s defining decade? (economic, social, political)
Economy is Canada’s defining decade among three of them. In early Cana da’s economy, hunting, gathering, and farming were common. During this time, other new industries are also rapidly increased such as electrical eq uipment, cars, and cheap hydroelectric power. As a result of that, natural population and immigration increased. How presentation will benefit audience: Adult learners are more interested in a subject if they know how or why it is important to them. 9 Transportation Transportation started since early 18th century in Canada. It is important to economy so Canada can trade goods from place to place or with other foreign countries. Railway is first developed before other transport systems Rail transportation is used to carry grain, coal, and lumbers In 1860s, vehicle transportation began ->People used their cars to go to other places easily ->Can travel far from hometown ->Usually trucks are commonly used to move industrial products
