Collaboration with CAS-PMO plays a crucial for the success
NWO “China beurs” to support SRON (TU Delft) ( ) : crucial ( managed by Mr. Bonenkamp) KNAW CEP project (Sep – Sep. 2016): -22 joint journal papers, co-authored by PMO, SRON, and TU Delft. -35 exchange visits in both directions (in total) -A delegation (one of them is Dr. R. Stark) of NWO Physical Sciences and Chemistry visited PMO -The president of TU Delft, Mr. Dirk Jan van den Berg, visited PMO CAS-KNAW Joint PhD Training project (Jan – Jan. 2013): -Y. Ren has published 4 papers in Applied Physics Letters as the first author and co-authored four more journal papers -Finished Ph.D thesis less than 4 years Applied Physics Letters: the top journal with a citation of 3.9 CAS-NWO workshop on April, 2017, Beijing, China

Current NbN mixers have too small IF bandwidth
Plan joint research Current NbN mixers have too small IF bandwidth New material MgB2 can increase this by a factor 3 or 4 PMO and SRON/TUD work together on design, measurement, and analysis. Fabrication at TUD Thin MgB2 comes from Dr. Yue Wang, Beijing University by HPCVD PLD deposition of MgB2 is planned also in the Delft Kavli Institute CAS-NWO workshop on April, 2017, Beijing, China
