Birthdays We love cupcakes and birthday celebrations. Just give a little advance notice, and we can help your child celebrate the big day at snack time. If you decide to bring in a special treat, please remember to include napkins and a safe, store bought treat for students who may have peanut allergies. *Please don’t send party invitations to be passed out at school UNLESS you are inviting the whole class. Students have feelings that get hurt easily when watching some people get invitations…and they aren’t invited. Thank you for your understanding.
20
Conferences Please sign up for a conference with your child’s homeroom teacher.

Personal Hygiene *Our 5th graders are getting to the age where it’s time to start wearing deodorant. *We go to PE from 8:40-9:30, and the kids come back VERY hot and sweaty. *24 plus bodies in one room can get very “odor-riffic”
22
EXTRA Information Afterschool activities and special area teachers are in the cafeteria. Please stop by to check out what KLES has to offer and meet your other teachers.
