Metric System
If you have been outside of the United States you have been exposed to the metric system.
You may have noticed that in the United States that some products have the Metric System printed along side the English system.
The United States will someday switch to the metric system and catch up to the rest of the countries.
Let me show you how easy it is to measure using this system!

Amount of matter in an object and depends on the number and kinds of atoms that make up the object
Basic unit is the gram (g), but you can use the kilogram (kg), or the milligram (mg)

Used to find the dimensions of an object

Basic unit of length is the meter (m), or centimeter (cm), or millimeter (mm) or decimeter (dm)

Liquid volumes measure in mL
