ESR1: PAVEMENT DESIGN FOR COLD RECYCLED MATERIALS
Helena I. Lacalle Jiménez 6th October 2015 Ancona, Italy Good morning to everyone, my name is Helena Lacalle and I am the early stage researcher number 1 from the super itn. I am working on a project entitled Pavement design for cold recycled materials and the institutions involved are AECOM where I am based, and the university of nottingham where I will get my PhD.

PAVEMENT DESIGN FOR COLD RECYCLED MATERIALS
Background of the problem Sustainability approach Avoid waste generation Reduce raw materials consumption Save energy Recycling Tar So, why this project? Well, there are three main reasons: the first one is that pavements need rehabilitation after being in service, and the problem is that some old layers contain tar. Sustainability: avoid waste generation and raw material consumption. Cold technologies
