Students grouped animals according to observable features (appearance, size, motion, etc.) in Kindergarten. New learning is comparing and describing animals.

Assessment Activities
Use Science journals to:
Use graphic organizers to compare or describe different animals to other animals.
Sort pictures of animals into groups according to their features.
