An Online Mentoring Program Management System is a web based database system designed to support the establishment and management of mentoring programs. enables mentoring program coordinators to independently develop and manage a mentoring program online. Recruitment – coordinators can enrol students in a mentoring program and automatically send an invitation to join the program. Managing Relationships - mentors and mentees can be matched and connected online. Mentees can request to be matched with a particular mentor. Supervision – coordinators can monitor program activity through online progress reports submitted by mentors. Progress reports can be individually designed to suit the needs of each program. Evaluation – the online program evaluation tool enables coordinators to design and administer evaluations online. provides a forum for coordinators and program participants to communicate with each other and share information. Communication Functions – coordinators can communicate directly with all participants or send messages and attachments to select groups or individuals. Participants can contact their mentors/mentees and the coordinator, access resources, ask for assistance, request a change of role or apply to be matched with a preferred mentor. Program Profiles – programs can independently develop a web presence and provide detailed information to current participants or interested students. Coordinators can upload documents and resources for participants. Online contact – e-mentoring activities can complement or replace face-to-face mentoring contact. Communication between mentors and mentees through the site preserves student privacy. Participant Profile Pages - editable personal profile pages are available for mentors, mentees and program coordinators. enables mentoring practitioners across Griffith University to share program resources and information about mentoring practice. Basic Resources – these resources are provided as generic templates that can be modified for individual programs. The coordinators’ toolkit and handbook are designed to support the establishment of new mentoring programs. Program Resources – program coordinators add newly developed resources to the Resource Bank for others to use, including materials such as manuals, posters and training activities. Conference listings – conferences and workshops of interest to mentoring practitioners are added regularly.
