Lack of regional accreditation body, meaning one aspect of the DLI/R on programme accreditation may not be realized
There may be lack of ownership of the project (programme and students) at the university level (mentioned for Ethiopia)
Low motivation due to lack of incentives for core team members, academic, and administrative staff
Lengthy procurement/financial approval process likely to cause delays

Lack of regional accreditation body, meaning one aspect of the DLI/R on programme accreditation may not be realized
Suggested Solutions (top 1-2 practical solutions )
Identify the requirement for regional accreditation body to be put in place
Facilitate RSC/RFU to strengthen their capacity for international accreditation. RSC could look at this as one of the focal areas for RFU.
ACEs to workout information for accreditation at international level in their field of specialisation
