Large bodies Females are smaller than males Strong legs Not white, actually clear hollow hairs Fluffy and soft Big feet Large claws

3 Where do polar bears live?
Ice floats near coast Females dig snow dens Much time in water Stay in dens all winter long Move onto lands in summer

4 What do I know about polar bear babies?
Live alone Only together to mate Mate during April and May Cubs weigh less than 1 pound Cubs learn to live on ice

5 What do polar bears eat? Largest predators on land
Enter towns then find enough food Sneak up on seals when resting on ice
