History of the American Legion Auxiliary
Paris, France: World War I veterans formed an organization called The American Legion. Which lead to the American Legion Auxiliary. OUR BEGINNING

Where do the flags go? Where do the officers sit? What’ s an agenda? How do you start and end a meeting? How do you make a motion? How do you make a nomination? How to you introduce a guest? MEETINGS CAN BE FUN IF YOU PARTICIPATE AND UNDERSTAND THE HOW AND WHY

Auxiliary Protocol Can you think of others?
Do you show respect to all officers in their official capacity? Do you listen to & respect the opinions of others? Do you speak across the floor to members? Do you monopolize meetings and never listen? Do you obey the rules of the organization? When you have a question, do you stand to be recognized by the “chair”? Do you remain seated or standing until the meeting is declared adjourned Can you think of others? Auxiliary Protocol
