2 La Cloche: Bellwork With your partner practice the alphabet by saying letters to each other and writing them in your Bell work section.

3 Le Calendrier With a partner: Greet the class Introduce yourself.
Tell the class the following things: Au’jourd-hui c’est ________ Demain ce sera _____________ Hier c’etait ___________________ Bienvenue a la classe de francaise.

4 Le Devoir:Homework Check your partners homework for a signature and a comment about the activity they did. Give them 5 points if it is complete. If it is not complete write -5 and your partner needs to mark unprepared. Give students alphabet notes.

6 Activite: l’alphabet Hangman
In small groups you will be given a word to spell in French. One person is the authority and writes the letters on the board, while each individual guesses a letter. (The letters must be said in French. If they are not, then you get another body part on your man. Each man must have the following before your group is considered hung. Head 4. 1. Complete the La cloche in your La cloche section. 2. Write 2 of the questions that can be answered with the calendar in your La Cloche section. 3. Be sure your homework is done from the previous class period. 4. Practice the French alphabet. See if you can remember the song. “The alphabet is easy to learn.” Say the French alphabet 3 times out loud. 5. Practice writing words out using the French alphabet. 6. Come get the notes Les números from me. Begin practicing number 0-31 in French. 7. Complete the homework for this class period. 8 Write a 50 word essay in French answering the questions What is your name? How are you? What is the date? And any other questions that you feel you can answer. (Turn this in to receive your participation points.)
