What is Message Card? The evolution of the format introduced for Group Connectors A JSON-based format that provides a logical representation of the data that is to be displayed A way to present data in a rich, yet simple and consistent way Clients that support Message Card implement a visually consistent rendering of the format Message Cards now support actions and inputs OpenUri action (e.g. open link) and HttpPOST actions (e.g. direct call to external service) Text, date/time and multi-choice input types to allow users to fill in fields that can be sent as part of an HttpPOST action Message Cards are all about productivity They allow users to easily complete simple actions right from their clients This leads to fewer context switches, fewer distractions and in the end enhanced productivity

Connectors with Message Card are a powerful way to: Opt into granular notifications from external services Complete simple tasks via actions and inputs But what if the same powerful mechanism could streamline everyday tasks and calls for action traditionally sent via ?
