Coincides with Elizabethan Era

3. Why Italy?
The Italian Rennascaince is the most prevelent and well known one.
Wars between Venice and Turkey
Othello is a General.

4. Elizabeth Elizabeth! Elizabeth 1 Elizabethan Era- 1533-1603
-Renaissance
-Great exploration time

5. Women! Were considered inferior to men
Fathers looked after daughters until they became wives, and if they couldn’t be a wife a male relative would watch over them.
Women were to be housewives and Mothers.
Were educated at this time, but no law, Medicine, or political jobs.
