Henry VIII was born at Greenwich Palace, London on 28 June 1491 and was the second son of Henry VII and Elizabeth of York.
Henry became King when his father died on 21st April He was 17 years old when he became king.
He spoke French, Spanish, Latin and some Italian and was a good musician.
Henry VIII married six times and had three children. He has two girls called Mary and Elizabeth and a son called Edward.
