4. Terror Attacks on U.S. Soil
1993 February 26: First World Trade Center bombing killed six and injured 1,000. The attack was carried out by radical Islamist Ramzi Yousef, a member of Al Qaeda.
1995 April 19: Oklahoma City bombing: A truck bomb shattered a Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City, killing 168 people-including children playing in the building's day care center. Domestic terrorists Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols were convicted in the bombing.
