5. How are the results used?
The NSS results are made publicly available to help prospective students make informed decisions of where and what to study.
Institutions are provided with the anonymised data to help them identify areas where they are doing well, as well as areas for development, for the purpose of improving the student learning experience for future generations of students.

Introducing a new skills development web page as a first step in delivering a ‘one-stop-shop’ Virtual Skills Hub
Investing in a new city centre hub, The Virgil Building, on Manvers Street, providing brand new learning space and access to student support services
Opening 4 East South, creating purpose-built brand new learning, teaching and research space
Increasing the amount of learning space with new Learning Commons in 6 West South and 6 East and improving the Library
Securing £3.5m investment to develop the Gym in the Sports Training Village which will more than double the current capacity
