Stronger initial bid clear indication of end product breakdown into work packages/stages identification of risks/issues and strategy to manage exception reporting and change management Improves likelihood of success Reduces workload on academic lead Fully funded by EU (up to 7% of budget for management costs)

3 Experience from EU Project Manager
Produce reports Monitor milestones, deliverables, task progress Arrange and jointly run meetings Organise travel Monitor budgets and expenditure Do end of year finance report and put together claim Organise timesheets and fill out for senior academics Manage project website Produce posters and other promotional material for the project

Project Management - 2 day course - FREE (UWE staff) Introduction to Microsoft project - ½ day workshop - FREE (UWE staff) Teresa Stephens (81200) or Louisa Pick (82039) (respectively) in the Learning and Development Centre on or PRINCE2® - foundation and practitioner e-learning – FREE (UWE staff) Stephen Batty (81640) or Vanessa Knight (82039) Option to take: PRINCE2 foundation exam £99 plus VAT PRINCE2 practitioner exam £195 plus VAT PRINCE2 manual (required for practitioner) £75 (no VAT)
