Social Resources Mandatory Residential Requirement
Students to be housed in same area or zone/targeted Brigade programming Students can self-select to room together All Residential Assistant staff undergoing additional diversity training Faculty and Staff Mentors Brigade members and mentors matched at Pre-O Mentor recruitment began February 18th Initial trainings in May, mentor matching in August, follow-up in Spring Meet GB student 1x per week for first 6 weeks, then bi-weekly/as needed WC Peer Mentors All Peer Mentors undergoing additional diversity training Peer Mentors provide consistent check-ins from Summer Advising through 1st Year on academic and social adjustment Off-Campus Cultural Trips Washington, DC, Baltimore, and Philadelphia

Leadership Development
Topical Seminars 3-4 seminars per semester, mandatory attendance Mixture of leadership and personal development Introduce to leadership opportunities and campus leaders Monthly Dinners with Senior Leadership Team Provides connection and access to senior team Provides insight into how campus works Opportunity for direct feedback about Brigade experience January Weekend Retreat Off-site with a focus on campus leadership & personal development Mentors invited to participate Posse to consult on content for 1st year Local/National Leadership/Diversity Conference Scheduled for late Spring Encourages on campus and broader leadership involvement

Academic Resources Normal Assignment of Academic Advisors
Provides support at Summer Advising on course selection Scheduled meetings during Fall and Spring Advisors will have access to additional diversity training Conversation Hours Provides a consistent cohort-based touchstone for the first year Academic resources reviewed and referred Place to discuss overall transitions, i.e. academic, residential, social Brigade members can invite in student and faculty guests Study Skills Seminars Note Taking Time management Stress management Support for Additional Tutoring Services Writing & Quantitative Skills Tutors (5 additional) OAS Content-Specific Tutors (5 additional)

Mandatory participation starting Summer Advising Day Career Interest Assessment Meetings with Career Counselors to assess path Career Prep Seminars Resume Writing Interview Skills Social Media Profile Internship Seeking Goal of 100% Placement in Internships/Externships Job Shadowing spring semester of year one Internships sophomore, junior, and senior year Seeking corporate and private support to fund internship experiences Connect with Alumni to generate contacts/experiences Plan for Years 2-4 Sophomore Bootcamp, Internships, and Launchpad Cohort-based programming planned Mentor check-ins over summer/local reunions with WC staff
