Legal protection: INDIA-PAKISTAN-N EPAL-SRILANKA all have the Right to Organize. Right to Negotiate Strike-Activity of Trade Union Pension, Provident Fund, Health Insurance, workman Compensation, EOBI(Employees Old age Benefits-for Pak). Only 1/3rd are for Srilankan Employees Retrenchment in Government Sector and Public Sector is Legal. Private sector-Termination of Employment Act

Section of people not covered by labour law
Agriculture workers in India, Pakistan, Nepal. But Srilanka Agriculture workers are covered under labour law. Health and Education Domestic Nepalese Labour Sector is in the Extreme Exploitation. Home Based workers Flexible laws pertaining to Formal and Informal Sector. DRAWBACKS IN THE EXISTING LAW: CHANGE IN POLITICAL SCENARIO MEANS CHANGE IN LABOUR LAWS LONG TERM SETTLEMENTS FUNDING ARMED AND NAVY FORCES NOT ALLOWED TO UNIONISE

To secure for workers better wages To safeguard security of tenure and improve conditions of service To increase opportunities for promotion and training To improve working and living condition To provide for educational cultural and recreational facilities To promote identity of interests of the workers To offer improved level of production and productivity discipline and high standard of quality To promote individual and collective welfare A firm “No” to Labour Reforms. Organizing the unorganized Involve women and Youth in Policy making.
