2 Where were they from? The Celts were from Europe including South Germany , Austria and France.

5 Celts BOATS The Celts travelled from Britain across to Ireland in small boats.

6 All the Celts spoke the same language and each tribe had its own leader.

7 Bronze . Bronze was used a lot in Ireland especially in 2000 BC.
. Bronze is a metal .For the next 1000 years bronze was the most popular metal.

8 Bronze was great news it made it easy to farm and to get around and it was good to trade.

9 The use of metal in ireland was great for farming and trade

10 The Irish were scared of the Celts weapons.
You can’t blame them. Those iron weapons were strong!

11 The Celts loved getting together to celebrate yearly events

12 Festivals Halloween is the most important festival.

13 They celebrated the sun at certain times of the year

14 Harp The most popular instrument was the Harp.

15 Olympics They had their own Olympics called the Tailteann Games.

16 The celts loved stories and legends

17 The Celts house’s were built in ring forts.

18 THEIR HOUSES Their houses are made of wattle and daub .

19 Each house had a thatched roof.

20 The Celts loved the countryside and nature

21 The Celts kept pigs , sheep and cattle for meat.

22 ANIMALS IN THE FOREST The forests were full of wild deer and other animals that they could hunt as sources of food

23 The Celts spent most of their time farming
The Celts spent most of their time farming. They farmed wheat barely and rye.

24 The Celts clothes were normally plain and ripped.

25 A man would wore a shirt called leine.

26 They used dyes and berries to put a colour in their clothes.

27 The Celts wore a torc around their neck.

28 THE CELTS USE A TYPE OF WRITING CALLED OGHAM.

29 THE CELTS LEFT US WITH AMAZING ART METALWORK SCULPTURE AND POETRY.
