3
Objectives To provide better capacity and coverage.
To occupy more number of user without any discontinuity in data transfer. To reduce power consumption with minimal cost.
4
Current state of Public Wi-Fi
Complementary technology Uses radio waves 2.4 GHz/5 GHz Max. Connection speed: 54 Mbps-1.3 Gbps LTE Wi-Fi link aggregation Operates in ISM band
5
Issue #1 Is it feasible to have an architecture wherein a common grid can be created through which any small entity can become a data service provider and able to share its available data to any consumer or user?
6
Incorporation of femto based cells.
Our Solution Incorporation of femto based cells. Usage of relays.
7
Benefits Better capacity and coverage = QoS [1]
Reduction in power consumption [2] Minimal cost [3] Less radiation [4]

Issue #2 What regulatory/licensing measures are required to develop such architecture? Is this a right time to allow such reselling of data to ensure affordable data tariff to public, ensure ubiquitous presence of Wi-Fi Network and allow innovation in the market?
10
Our Solution Regulation and Licensing measures Reselling of data [WPC]
TRAI would coordinate the overall process. WPC would identify the free spectrum. Reselling of data [WPC] Tariff to public [Service providers]
