4 Before Temujin Became Genghis Khan
Temujin was born between the years 1155 and 1160 His father was Yesukhei who was the chief of a small clan of Mongols who hunted. When he was young he was taken to a neighboring tribe to work and earn a wife. Temujin and his brother killed their half brother, and as a result of that became slaves Temujin was freed at the age of 16, and went looking for the women that was to be his wife.
