RULES Rules need to be followed to create a safe learning environment.
Following the rules will result in every student learning as much as possible while having fun. Rules, when broken, will hinder learning and result in consequences.

RULES We will be seated and working when the bell rings.
We will treat each person with respect and dignity. Bring all materials with you and take them with you when you leave. We will follow all directions. We will follow all rules and guidelines in the student agenda book (no cell phones, gum chewing, etc.). The bell does not dismiss the class, the teacher does. NO personal grooming during class.

CONSEQUENCES Consequences occur when the rules are broken. If you do not like the consequences, follow the rules! There are different levels of consequences for different infractions. Please review the Franklin Township website to see the levels of consequences you receive for different infractions. The website is and then go to Students or Parents tab and click Code of Conduct. Severe Infraction: If your behavior is extreme, the consequence will be extreme.

PROCEDURES Procedures are necessary to create a positive learning environment. Procedures are the way we do things so that class runs smoothly and we maximize time. Procedures will help us to learn as much as possible and enjoy our time in class together.

ENTERING THE CLASSROOM
Walk quietly to your seat. Take out your materials: notebook, homework, and pencil or pen. Read the objective for the day and any other special instructions on the board. Head your notebook page properly which must include date!!!! Begin your Do Now.

NOTEBOOK Start each day on a new page.
Use the following heading on each page: Name: __________ Date:_______ Type of Work: ___________________ Label everything (Do Now, Class work, Homework) Record all vocabulary

ASKING QUESTIONS Questions are a very important tool when learning!
Raise your hand to ask a question and wait to be called on before asking your question. Do NOT be embarrassed to ask a question, someone else in here is thinking the same thing you are.

HOMEWORK It is recommended that you have two homework buddies that you can always contact: phone, , Facebook, twitter, instagram etc. All assignments will be posted online or in the classroom If a homework assignment is not completed on time, you will receive a 0 for that assignment. You may make up homework for 50% credit during office hours.

REVIEWING HOMEWORK I will check that homework is completed:
- 100% = Fully Completed - 50% = Half Completed - 0% = Not Completed When necessary homework will be reviewed in class so that you can check for understanding.

TARDY WITH A PASS: WITHOUT A PASS:
If you arrive to class tardy with a pass, quietly hand it to me and join in the class activity WITHOUT A PASS: First Offense – Warning Second Offense – Parent called Third Offense – Parent called/Detention Fourth Offense - Write Up/Deans Office

BATHROOM You must wait for teacher NOT to be teaching in front of the class to go to the bathroom.

LOCKERS Please ask to visit your locker before homeroom, before lunch, and after school.

ABSENCES You have 2 days for every 1 day you are absent to make up the missed work. Ask Señora González for anything you might need. Once the work is made up it is your responsibility to show me it so that I can give you credit.

THE CLASSROOM The classroom is a place for ALL of us to learn.
If we want a clean classroom then we must keep it that way. Clean up after yourself! Throw away all garbage! Please be courteous with supplies

SUPPLIES You need: Notebook 2 Folders Pencils, pens Pencil sharpener Erasers Flash drive Headphones (can be purchased at dollar tree, wal-mart, target If you ever need a pen or pencil I would like collateral: (i.e. school id)

GRADING A= 90-100 B= 80-89 C= 72-79 D= 66-71 F= 0-65

Teachers desk is equal to your backpack; I wont go in your backpack please don’t go in my desk.

Student Stuff If you need a stapler, tape, post-it or a punch hole for papers, please ask Señora Gonzalez.
