A single fund for CFP and MP for shared and direct management Stronger result orientation Stronger conditionalities "Cross-compliance" Alignment of measures to CFP and MP objectives Stronger focus on SSCF More (and multi-funds) coastal development (CLLD)

Shared management (6.4 bn €) End 2016: 8.1 % committed/selected but high variation between MS and Union priorities Sept 2017: Payment claims 1.65% despite 21 designations De- commitment risk end of 2018: 796 mio€

EACs: 24 action plans implemented, 4 under assessment Funding: 566 mio € EMFF mobilising 955 mio € public investment Operations: More than 7000 operations 4000 fishing vessels supported (57% SSF) 3000 SMEs supported 250 operations for Natura 2000 and MPAs 330 FLAGs identified

Direct management (647 mio €) : 80% committed and 40% spent Maritime Policy and Blue Growth: 76 operations for 65 mio€ Broad stakeholder involvement/regionalisation (ACs) Market intelligence (EUMOFA) Scientific advice for around 180 stocks Better science, compliance, management and governance in international organisations/RFMOs
