10. Austin Hackers Anonymous (AHA)
AHA! is a loose group of hackers and security professionals who have a common interest in sharing their research, projects, silly experiments and generally hanging out with like-minded individuals. Our meetings consist of two hours of 5-10 minute turbo talks (and heckling) followed by socializing.
How to join: Participation is mandatory. You will be expected to give a 2- minute intro your first meeting or a "full talk" of 5-10 minutes. See for details.
