2. History
Veneto Lavoro was established in 1998, as a technical agency for the employment of the Veneto Region, with organizational, accounting, administrative and financial autonomy. Its scope includes the study and promotion of active employment policy, the monitoring of the labor market, the 'implementation of the Employment Information System of Veneto and the development of innovative projects, both in the local context and EU level.

3. Organization
Direction: the executive staff works in four separate offices: Secretariat, Internal control, European projects office, Crisis Unit office.
The 4 operational departments are:
Human Resources and General Affairs
Regional Labour Market policies, including technical assistance to ESF;
Regional Labour Market Information System (RLMIS);
Observatory and Research Department

4. European project’s office
As staff of the Direction, the European Projects office works at international level following the regional interests in a global context.
It works in cooperation with the department Projects and Services which manages:
the implementation of ESF Technical Assistance activities
Regional migrants’ integration policy
