2 Tips to gain all points:
Use no more than two fonts throughout the presentation. Font choice should coordinate with the message you are delivering. Keep all headlines the same font point size on each slide. For the body text on each slide, use a point size that can be easily read (should be at least 30 points or more).

3 Skill 1: Insert an Action Button on one slide
Click the Insert tab. Click the Shapes command in the Illustrations group. A drop-down menu will appear with the action buttons located at the very bottom. Select the desired action button. Insert the button onto the slide by clicking the desired location. The Action Settings dialog box will appear. Select the Mouse Click or Mouse Over tab. Selecting the Mouse Click tab means the action button will perform its action only when clicked. Selecting the Mouse Over tab will make the action button perform its action when you move the mouse over it. In the Action on click section, select Hyperlink to: then click the drop- down arrow and choose and option from the menu. Check the Play Sound box if you want a sound to play when the action button is clicked. Select a sound from the drop-down menu, or select Other sound to use a sound file on your computer. Click OK.

4 Skill 1-2: Test an action button
Click the Slide Show tab. In the Start Slide Show group, click From Current Slide. Click your action button. After you have tested it, right-click anywhere on the screen and select End Show.

5 Skill 1-3: Edit an action button
Select the action button. Click the Insert tab. In the Links group, click the Action command. The Action Settings dialog box will appear. Edit the action or hyperlink. Click OK.

6 Skill 1-4: Change the appearance of an action button
Select the action button. Click the Format tab. To change the button style or color, use the tools in the Shape Styles group. To change the shape of the action button, click Edit Shape in the Insert Shapes group. Select a new shape from the drop-down menu.

7 Skill 2: Insert audio file
From the Insert tab, click the Audio drop-down arrow, then select Audio on My PC. Locate and select the desired audio file, then click Insert. The audio file will be added to the slide.

8 Skill 2-1: Audio options There are other options you can set to control how your audio file will play. These are found in the Audio Options group on the Playback tab. Volume – changes the audio volume Start – controls whether the audio file starts automatically or when the mouse is clicked Hide During Show – hides the audio icon while the slide show is playing Play Across Slides – continues playing the audio file across multiple slides instead of just the current slide Loop Until Stopped – replays the audio file until stopped Rewind after Playing – returns the audio file to the beginning when it is finished playing.

9 Skill 3: Rehearsing and Recording
Rehearsing timings can be useful if you want to set up a presentation to play at a certain speed without having to click through the slides to present it. With this feature, you can save timings for each slide and animation. PowerPoint will play back the presentation with the same times when you present it.

10 Skill 3-1: To rehearse timings
Select the Slide Show tab, then locate the Set Up group. Click the Rehearse Timings command. You will be taken to a full-screen view of your presentation. Practice presenting you slide show. When you are ready to move to the next slide. When you are ready to move to the next slide, click the Next button on the Recording toolbar in top-left corner. You can also use the right arrow key. When you have reached the end of the show, a dialog box will appear with the total time of your presentation. If you are satisfied with your timings from your practice, press Ok.

11 Repeated Skill 4: Run a slideshow.
ALWAYS run a slide show to check for mistakes in grammar, spelling, text box shapes and sizes, etc.
