Course description:
The training will provide the participant with an introduction into the Health industry, its career opportunities and study pathways. Participants will complete 2 health introductory units of competence and participate in work readiness and study skills workshops
COURSE DELIVERY:
The course will be delivered full time 4 days per week over a three week period. Learners will be supported in their learning by the Aboriginal Education Unit.
Proposed dates:
13, 14, 15 & 16 November
20, 21, 22 & 23 November
27, 28, 29, 30 November
Course outcomes including:
Basic Health industry safe work practices and direct client care
Comply with infection prevention and control polices
Prepare and present an effective resume
Research career and study options in the growing Health industry
