Pine Lake Archaeological Field School Summer 2015 ANTH credits May 27-June M-F 8:00-4:30 & Evening labs 2 days per week The SUNY Oneonta summer 2015 archaeological field school will be held at Pine Lake, located near Davenport, NY. The objectives of the field school are to promote a greater understanding of Native American cultural traditions in the Northeast and to allow students to apply archaeological excavation methods to archaeological sites. The goals are to teach basic methods in field archaeology, including survey and excavation techniques, mapping, and flotation; and laboratory analysis. Student Fees Tuition: $1560 Program Fee: $ * Housing (if needed): $300 (double), $350 (single), $400 (cabin single) *depends on number of students, there is a 13 student minimum. Contact: Renee B.
