3. BRIEF INTRODUCTION OF THE UNION’S YOUTH ACTIVITIES IN VGCL
Vietnam is a young populational country, number of people who are in working age is almost 65%, in which young people (from 15-34) for 53% of the working age. Young trade unionists is the majority.
VGCL does not have separate activities for young unionists unions. Young unionists activities are also in the general activities of the union members union.
Youth activities are: participate actively and play very important role of the patriotic emulation movement of VGCL:
Through the emulation movement, young union members have been promoting their resources, potential and creativity, self-strength, overcome difficulties and improve their level and capacity for intellectual train, dedication, complete the tasks assigned, enriching home country.

4. The Importance of Organizing Trade-Unionists and Young Trade-Unionists
Trade unionist is the original, is the cell of the organization. Strong union member, powerful trade union organization.
Youth is part of the working class with the crowded number. Youth are members of the working class (young workers), or will join the working class (after graduating from high school or college).
VGCL soon specified that: "get closer and closer to all grassroots level, from base operations to localities mainly, from the staff workers as subjects of mobilizing". To improve the quality of trade unionists, building strong grassroots as well as organizung trade unionists, specially young trade unionists are very important.

5. Target group and parties involved
Recuiting at least 1,3 million new union youth members
Making sure 100% TU representatives get TU training
70% workers get vocational training (now 30%)

6. OBJECTIVES
Must have a higher unity of opinion, perception, focusing direct synchronization, uniform regularly from top to bottom of the union levels, and would like the leadership of the Party Committees, copporate closely with government, unions at all levels.
Organize union members and develope trade union organization along with the construction organization, strengthen organizations and improve operational efficiency and innovation union content, method of operation of the trade union facilities renovation work of organizing and directing the activities of the union superiors.
Understand well the situation of labor and operation of enterprises in the area, considering it a prerequisite to establish a trade union campaign.

7. OBJECTIVES
Must have an innovative content, way of advocacy labour join trade union organizations and participate in union activities, take good care of advocacy employers, make them understand the union, support trade unions in the establishment of grassroots trade unions and organizing union members.
Build the enthusiastic movement, "expertise" specialists union staff.
Must mobilize all human resources, material, system and social union in order to create good environment for trade union facilities in operation. reasonable investment expenditure budget for the development of trade union union members, union support base in financial difficulty and cost in operation.

8. Building Youth Activists in Trade Union - in Near Future
Build private activities program for young trade unionists. Particularly attention to age, gender, education level, qualification of the youth to built suitable programs, attract them join the movement of workers and trade union activities.
Take care of young workers, organizing young workers into VGCL.
Meet, learn, and understand youth workers -> propagandise trade union organization -> through the practical movement of staff and labor union activities -> Admit union members union -> continuing training to become trade union officer, leader of labor union activities.
