1 Reproduction and Life Cycles Sunday, 22 July 2018
Learning question: What is a life cycle?

2 Learning objectives: Recall that all organisms have a life cycle
Distinguish between complete and incomplete metamorphosis, using insect life cycle as examples Describe the life cycle of the frog and flowering plant

4 Life Cycles What is a life cycle?
the series of changes in the life of an organism including reproduction.

5 Incomplete and complete metamorphosis
change or transformation during a stage of development. Complete metamorphosis 4 stages and organism looks different at all stages e.g. Butterfly Incomplete metamorphosis 3 stages and organism looks similar at all stages e.g. grasshopper
