Born in Hawaii on August 4th 1961,Barack Obama spent his childhood in Asia.
It was in 1983 that Obama graduated from Columbia University. At the age of 27, he was admitted into Harvard Law School. Three years hard work resulted in his doctor’s degree. Then, he worked as a lawyer, and later a lecturer, after which he began his political career. Married in 1992, Obama has two daughters.
The year 2008 witnessed his great success in defeating McCain in the general election and becoming the first African-American President of the United States. The next year, his excellent contribution won him the Nobel Peace Price.
