WHAT IS THE DYNAMAP PROJECT ? PROJECT SPAN BUDGET EC CONTRIBUTION € (48%) The DYNAMAP Project is a LIFE+ project aiming at developing a dynamic noise mapping system able to detect and represent in real time the acoustic climate of road infrastructures.

3 PROJECT OBJECTIVE The main objective is to ease and streamline the noise mapping process through the development of a low cost sensors system able to automatically update the noise maps in real time. MILAN ROME

4 THE PROJECT IDEA Noise Source The core idea of the project is based on the possibility of updating the noise maps by scaling pre-calculated BASIC NOISE MAPS Traffic Meteo Low cost SLM

7 BASIC NOISE MAP UPDATE 0 dB + 2 dB Sum -1 dB SCALE AND SUM

8 BASIC NOISE MAPS PREPARATION
1 Split the road network in elementary noise sources 2 Generate a unique grid for the whole pilot area 3 Prepare a unique buffer each side of the road as calculation area 4 Calculate the noise maps for each elementary source
