2. Activate Tally.ERP 9
Step 1: First time License Activation
Step 2: Unlock License

3. Activate Tally.ERP 9 Single Site
Step : 1
Ensure system connected to Internet during activation process
Start Tally.ERP 9
Select Activate License
Select First time activation for your organisation (Alt+F)
Note: Subsequent activation can be done using Reactivate License option

4. Activate Tally.ERP 9 Single Site
Step : 1
Enter Serial Number,
Key and your ID
An Account will be created using id provided.
You will receive a containing
Account related information,
Password to access the account
Unlock Key

5. Unlock License – Tally.ERP 9
Step : 2
Select Unlock License in Startup (Alt+U)
Copy the Unlock Key from received and paste it to activate Tally.ERP 9 License.

6. Step 1: Configure Tally.NET (In Local Tally)
Using Remote Access in Tally.ERP 9

Step 2: Authorise Tally.NET Users (In Local Tally)
Step 3: Connect to Tally.NET (In Local Tally)
Step 4: Remote Login (in Remote Tally)

7. Configure Tally.NET (In Local Tally)
Step : 1
Ensure Use Security Control is set to Yes in company creation
Go to Gateway of Tally > Press F11:Features > F4:Tally.NET Features
Enter Connect Name for Company & other details. Enable Allow to Connect Company.

8. Authorise Tally.NET Users (In Local Tally)
Step : 2
Go to Gateway of Tally > press Alt+F3 (Company Info.)
Select Security Controls > Users and Passwords
Select the required Security Level, enter Name of User, set Allow Remote Access to Yes and provide other details.

9. Connect to Tally.NET (In Local Tally)
Step : 3
Go to Gateway of Tally > press F4 and connect to Tally.NET

10. Remote Login (in Remote Tally)
Step : 4
Start Tally.ERP 9 (License /Educational mode)
Select Login As a Remote User
Enter the Tally.NET user ID and Password
Select the required remote Company
Access data and report from remote location
