The benefits of practicing gratitude are nearly endless. People who regularly practice gratitude by taking time to notice and reflect upon the things they're thankful for experience more positive emotions, feel more alive, sleep better, express more compassion and kindness, and even have stronger immune systems. >>Turn and Talk Opportunity<< -How do you like to show gratitude? (Writing a note, sending a text, , in person, etc.) -In your past experience, how did it feel for when expressing gratitude to someone else? -How do you think they felt? Today, we are going to begin to learn about gratitude. Gratitude - the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness Synonyms for gratitude: appreciation, acknowledgement, recognition, thanks, grateful, honor, praise, thanksgiving, thankfulness… (we will use some of these words interchangeably as we continue our learning on gratitude)
