10. HOW DO I EARN CREDIT? Every class = .5 (½) credit each semester.
(No, you do not get credit for aclab)
7 classes each semester = 3.5 credits
2 semesters every year = 7 credits
4 years of High School= 28 credits
(24 needed for graduation)
Students are able to earn up to 1.0 credit in summer school each summer.

We know students that get involved do better in school.
Find something you like to do from the list we have provided to you today. South offers a lot of sports, performing groups and clubs for you to choose from.
ELIGIBILITY RULES
Athletics, Music Performance Groups and Speech/Debate are governed under the Missouri State High School Activities Association.
Students MUST meet eligibility requirements to participate!
In order to be eligible to participate in MSHAA activities students must receive 3.0 credits the semester before the activity occurs.
