Finding volume using water displacement
Small Objects- 1. Put a specified amount, (ex. 50 mL,) of water in a graduated cylinder. 2. Put the object in the cylinder. 3. Record the new volume of the water in the cylinder. 4. Subtract the final volume- starting volume

Large Objects 1. Place a beaker in a tray. 2. Fill the beaker to the rim with water- don’t overflow. 3. Add an object to the beaker. 4. Remove the beaker carefully from the tray. 5. Use a graduated cylinder to measure the water left in the tray.
