ASK: How did the development of these technologies influence society at the turn of the 20th century?
DISCUSSION: This is the birth of several new communications mediums. Film and movies become the rage. Movie theatres became social hubs and a primary source for entertainment. Movie theaters became the place where people would also learn of news and world events.
The fledgling radio industry begins and TV broadcast is just around the corner.
