What’s Happening In 311!
Our school spelling bee was Wednesday. Kale, Soren, and Remington represented our class well! I am so proud of all three of them!
Next week is our Spring Scholastic Book Fair! Book Fair always brings a lot of excitement.  Each morning we will have "Breakfast With Books".  Families can get in the breakfast line with their child, pay our wonderful ladies at the register, sit with their child to enjoy breakfast, and then head to the Book Fair!!  
On Wednesday and Thursday mornings we will be hosting "Muffins With Moms".   Each student can invite a special "lady" to eat a muffin with them.  There is no cost for the muffins. Our special "moms" will also need to sign in at the office, get in line at the muffin table, enjoy eating with their student, and then head to the Book Fair.
Our class will be visiting the book fair next week on Wednesday from 12:00-12:30 p.m. Parents are welcome to attend. If you send money with your child, please make sure it is in an envelope with his/her name on the outside.

We took Topic 12 test on geometry this week. Our next topic is money.

We will finish our animal research expository writing and then begin the end of the quarter writing assessment .
Science/Social Studies
We started learning about simple machines and continue next week.
If your child makes a 100% on the retest, they will be given an alternative list of words to study.
