2. Luke 10:13-16
Jesus said to his disciples:
‘Alas for you, Chorazin! Alas for you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. And still, it will not go as hard with Tyre and Sidon at the Judgement as with you. And as for you, Capernaum, did you want to be exalted high as heaven? You shall be thrown down to hell.
‘Anyone who listens to you listens to me; anyone who rejects you rejects me, and those who reject me reject the one who sent me.’

3. But what does it mean?
Chorazin, Bethsaida, Tyre and Sidon were all cities during Jesus’ time. Tyre and Sidon were considered to be cities where a lot of sin and evil took place. In the Gospel reading, Jesus said that if goo things had happened in these places then the people who lived there would have repented (asked for forgiveness and changed their ways) long ago. This shows how important the idea of being sorry and seeking forgiveness is to Jesus and why Christians see God as a forgiving God.

4. It’s easier said than done!
On a piece of paper, write down the steps to saying sorry which are shown to you on the video.

5. Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. Amen.
