Document Setup Standard paper sizes Orientation Margins
Letter, legal, tabloid, A4 Orientation Landscape (wide) or portrait (tall) Margins (pink lines; column guides are blue) Set up correctly before you begin layout All can be selected in the Document Setup window

Margins White space on the outside edge that makes publication easier to read. Margins separating two facing pages are considered the “gutter.” Small, saddle-stitch pubs may not need the extra white space in the gutter that perfect or wire bound pubs do.

Pages To add pages, use either Document Setup (in the File menu) or Insert Pages (in the Layout menu) Insert Pages option lets you put new pages before, after, or between the currently viewed pages. To remove pages, use the Remove Pages option in the layout menu

Master Pages Click “L/R” in lower left corner
Anything added will appear on every page (left/right) in document Great for awards, items that have to be a specific size, column guides, etc.
