Affective disorder: Major depression disorder
Symptoms Affective: Feelings of sadness, guilt, lack of pleasure and enjoyment in activities which would typically be pleasurable, lack of interest in company and peers. Behavioral: Lack of initiative and excitement and enthusiasm about things which typically would be exciting. Cognitive: Negative thoughts occurring frequently, faulty attribution of blame, self-esteem lowered, hopelessness, difficulty making decisions, suicidal thoughts. Somatic: Loss of energy, weight gain or weight loss, insomnia or hypersomnia. Affects14.8 million American adults (6.7% of population). Median age at onset is 32.5 More prevalent in woman than in men.

Anxiety disorder: post-traumatic stress disorder
Symptoms Avoidance – people: family, relative, colleagues, situations: situations that are associated with the traumatic event or may be a reminder. Hyper arousal Trouble concentrating and remembering Insomnia Alcohol or drug abuse Suicidal thoughts According to the National Center for PTSD, approximately 7-8 out of 100 people will experience PTSD at a point of their lives (around 10% of population). Woman are more likely to suffer from PTSD then men.
