2 STATUS All DON Commands made the Presidential initial review deadline of December 31, 2006. All DON Commands required to review all paper records from 1982 by December 31, 2007. Next major Presidential review deadline is December 31, 2009 for documents referred by other agency’s to DON. Presidential deadline for review of special media (all media except paper) is December 31, 2011.

6 SPECIAL MEDIA Includes audio tape, information in electronic format, movie films in various formats, microfiche and microfilm. Estimated 21.6 million pages delayed from 2006 deadline. NARA, NHC and WNRC have microfiche and microfilm collections to review. Other collections of note are 1,509 Pueblo crew interview audio tapes at NARA and 1.6 million pages of microfiche at Ships History.
