Without joy, we don't enjoy life. We become bitter people instead of better people.
Bitter people produce bitter ministry while better people produce better ministry.

“Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit. Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will return to you.” Psalms‬ ‭51:12-13‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Joy is born out of our love for God and our desire to live in God and live with God.

Imagine having joy in the midst of your trials. Imagine having fun in the midst of your trials.

Joy doesn't mean the absent of trials, joy helps you to enjoy God in the midst of the trials.
“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds,” James‬ ‭1:2‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Joy causes you to stay encouraged because joy keeps you connected to the presence of God. (Abiding)

14. RESET MY JOY Did you know that joy is a weapon?
Joy is connected to your praise and if joy comes from abiding/being in God's presence, then praise is my expression of joy.

“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.” Philippians‬ ‭4:4‬ ‭ESV‬‬
The word “rejoice” simply means to express “joy.” Of course you can’t rejoice unless you posses joy and you can't possess joy unless you abide in God's presence.

BIG IDEA: Your joy comes from abiding in God's presence.

17. RESET MY JOY PRAYER: Father,
We know that in Your presence is the fullness of joy and at Your right hand are joys for ever more – thank You for the joy I have in You.

18. RESET MY JOY
Lord I pray that I may live in and live with your presence so that my joy may be full. Thank You for the joy of the Lord, which is my strength.

19. RESET MY JOY
Help me always to rejoice in Your joy and to remain in Your love so my joy might be full and so that Your joy may spill to others. In Jesus Name, Amen!
